Charlie Bare grew up with a guitar in his hands and has been an active performer and educator for well over a decade.

Aside from his career as a Denver music teacher, he has played countless wedding ceremonies, parties, wineries, and restaurants, both solo and with a variety of bands, including The Charlie Bare Quartet, The Get Readies (a Motown wedding band), a 10-piece Latin jazz ensemble called La Gente, and Take the Cake, a cover band specializing in weddings and private events. Over the years, he has tailored hundreds of custom arrangements for students and clients alike. Charlie brings a unique eye to weddings, as he believes each ceremony is an opportunity to honor the couple’s individual tastes and history together.

Besides music, Charlie is a fan of reading and writing, tea, boxing, restoring antiques, and spending time with his wife and son. He lives in South Denver and is grateful to call Colorado home.
